Tyson

I had a great time in the cotton field with Tyson and his mommy.  He happens to be a friend of my son's, but they are very different... Tyson actually listens to me when I ask him to do something ;-).  I love that blond hair and those baby blues.
Thanks for a great session!

Rice Harvest

I love, love, love the first image!  I always try to capture those spontaneous moments, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  In this case, it was a success.
I first met Georgia and Lance when she was expecting and then I got to meet little Brooks a couple of months later.  I think they are a beautiful family and love that I got to get more shots of Brooks, now that he is a big boy.
When they suggested a shoot in the rice, I was all for it.  I think it makes one of the best backdrops around, cotton being my other favorite.
Moms of the world take note:  When we started our session Georgia had on a brown shirt with jeans and cardy, long necklace and heeled boots.  When we switched locations to the park, she ditched the necklace and cardigan, added a scarf and bangle, cuffed the jeans and put on flats.  The boys changed their shirts and voila.  Now is that smart or what?  I was so impressed, I just had to brag on her a little bit.
Thanks guys!  I really enjoyed our session and I love the results!

That's Mr. Polka Dot to You

First let me say that I love these images!  Gatlin is such a sweet little boy... however, he does look a little bit gangster in the above image :)  It just makes me smile every time I see it.  "Hey, you talkin' to me?  That's Mr. Polka Dot to you buddy."
Anyway, I'm just being silly.  I thought Gatlin and I were only going to have one more guaranteed session together, but his mom won my contest last week!  Now the poor kid is stuck with me for another year.  I can't wait to see him cruising around for our one year session.  I want to get him in action.  Look for his one year session this fall!
