Happy Friday!

I wanted to post a quick update to let everyone know I am in my studio now.  I've been busy setting everything up for the past several weeks.  I have it almost the way I want it, furniture, lamps, green stuff, etc.  Everything in place except, um, well, ... prints :-).  You would think that would be the first thing to go up.  Anyway, that should be underway in a week or so.  Below are a few pics to give you an idea.  I hope you all appreciate my fantastic writing skills with a mouse. 

On a different note, if you have ever done anything that relies on opinions, you know how nerve racking it can be.  You have moments of triumph and elation and moments when you are plagued with insecurities.  When I do something I tend to throw myself in, mind, heart and soul.  That's how this business has been for me.  Every time I put a photograph out into the world for other judging eyes to see, it is a little piece of me.  Sometimes I know right away that my clients/family/friends love it, sometimes I'm not so sure.  What makes it all worthwhile is when you get a little unexpected comment to keep you going.  
Last week a client called me after she saw her preview on the blog and said, "You gave me what I wanted, without me even knowing what I wanted."  Comments like that make it all worthwhile.  I've also had a couple of pep talks from my sweet sainted sister-in-law this week and this morning a pretty great conversation with my sister Carole about some of my recent work.  
I just want to say thanks for all of the encouragement, from all of you.  There are many more heroes whom I didn't mention.  It really does mean so much.
