I saw this propane tank {or "protein tank" ;-) } and couldn't resist taking a picture of the handle. It brings back so many memories of climbing on them when I was a kid.

Wally
I needed some new pictures of my baby, so we went out to the farm and played. He had to try out the new trike he got from Santa too. It's been too cold to get out and ride until now! I love the one on the right. He really looks into it! He doesn't quite have the pedals figured out yet, but he can move along pretty well without them.

Snow Day
We had a little snow last week, enough to get out of work (about a quarter of an inch, G will appreciate that). Wally had a good time for all of 5 minutes. Can't say I was disappointed though, it was too COLD! So these are his first snow pictures. I hope they will look all neat and vintage some day like mine do now.

Eszlee
I had the opportunity to photograph a very precious little girl today named Eszlee. What a great name! She was so sweet and so patient with me. I wanted to give her mommy a little preview of some of my favorites. Thanks Eszlee!

Lighting Experiments
Ok, so obviously these aren't the greatest pictures ever. I was playing around with some lighting techniques. The first one is just flash through an umbrella. The second two are shot with a "snooted" flash. Wally just happened to run through the first one in the right spot at the right time, so I threw it in. The second was my best effort on snooting. I was trying to properly light my subject while keeping the shutter slow enough to let the christmas lights in. It was tuff to catch my subject sitting still (Raffe), but I finally got what I was going for.

Boda & Marley
You would think they only have one bed. That isn't the case. It's no wonder Wegman loves to photograph Weimaraners, Boda will pose all day long and curl up into a little ball. Marley on the other hand is just an old lady who wants to sleep. ;-)
P by the Tree
We took some Christmas card shoots of P. I think this is the winner. The rest looked a little "JCPenny". I just used a flash with a diffuser, bounced off the ceiling.

Daddy
My dad passed away on November 21st. He was a truly wonderful man and will be greatly missed. Among other things, he was a farmer, a fisherman, a politician, a missionary, a maker of ice cream sandwiches and an unbelievable whistler. He traveled the world, and loved to take pictures and show slideshows of all the places he had been. I suppose my love of photography came from him. I wanted to post a few pictures of him and of us together.
Max & Jackson
I had a chance to get some pictures of our little cousins over the Thanksgiving holiday. What a sweet little baby! More to come later...

Emerson
I had so much fun with Emerson on the golf course! We ran and played and "hugged" trees. What a sweet little girl.

I'm having fun playing around with my new logo, created by my brilliant and talented sister-in-law, Anna.
